Dataset of pulvinar and total thalamus volumes of early monocular enucleated individuals and binocularly intact controls

This dataset contains volume (mm3) measures for the whole thalamus, whole pulvinar, and pulvinar subnuclei (anterior, inferior, lateral, and medial). All data was collected according to the MRI acquisition methods and analyses listed below. There were a total of 27 participants included in this study. 20 participants were binocularly intact controls who had normal vision in both eyes; 7 participants had an eye removed early in life due to retinoblastoma (rare childhood cancer of the eye) and were tested as adults.
