珠穆朗玛峰地区的现代冰川目录数据来源于珠穆朗玛峰地区科学考察报告《现代冰川与地貌》（1975）。该地区北坡的冰川分属于绒辖河、热久藏布、扎卡曲、卡达河和甘马藏布河五个流域。冰川数量依据所收集的大比例尺实测地形图进行统计，范围涵盖西起通泽峰，东至甘马藏布河谷，南抵莱巴熊河，北达错龙康。由于绒辖河流域缺乏精确的大比例尺地形图，统计数据尚未完善。各流域的冰川群基本上按河支流划分，名称通常与河流名称一致。冰川的独立编号从河流左侧下游开始，按照逆时针方向排列。冰川面积通过求积仪测量，精度为±0.01平方公里，冰川长度通过曲线仪测量，精度为±0.1公里。长度从冰舌末端至冰川源头最远处计算，支冰川的长度计算至与主冰川的汇合口。冰川上限和冰舌末端位置均依据地形图资料。该数据集以Excel格式存储，包含一张工作簿，详细记录了珠穆朗玛峰地区现代冰川的目录，体现了第一次青藏科学考察数据的数字化整理成果。
The modern glacier inventory data of the Mount Qomolangma (Everest) region is derived from the 1975 scientific expedition report *Modern Glaciers and Landforms* focused on this region. Glaciers on the northern slope of the region belong to five river basins: Rongxia River, Rejiuzangbu River, Zhak Qu, Kada River, and Gamazangbu River. The number of glaciers was counted based on collected large-scale topographic survey maps, with the survey scope spanning from Tongze Peak in the west, to the Gamazangbu River valley in the east, the Lebaxiong River in the south, and Cuolongkang in the north. As the Rongxia River basin lacks precise large-scale topographic maps, the statistical data is not yet complete. Glacier groups in each basin are generally divided according to river tributaries, and their names usually match those of the corresponding rivers. The independent numbering of glaciers starts from the downstream left bank of the river and follows a counterclockwise order. Glacier area was measured with a planimeter, with an accuracy of ±0.01 km²; glacier length was measured with a curvimeter, with an accuracy of ±0.1 km. Glacier length is calculated from the terminus of the glacier tongue to the farthest point of the glacier source; for tributary glaciers, length is calculated up to the confluence with the main glacier. The upper limit of glaciers and the location of glacier tongue termini are both determined based on topographic map data. This dataset is stored in Excel format, containing a single worksheet that details the modern glacier inventory of the Mount Qomolangma region, reflecting the digital collation outcomes of the first Qinghai-Tibet Scientific Expedition data.
