Investigation of microbial community composition in a rat model of obesity [16S rRNA-seq]

We investigated the microbial composition in the colon of rats with diet-induced obesity. Fecal samples were collected after eight weeks on the special diet, and 16S rRNA sequencing was employed to analyze microbial communities. Our findings revealed distinct microbial profiles between rats fed a LFD and HFD.
