Replication Code/Data for Frame, Gerardi, Mayer, Xu, Zhao FHA Litigation

This directory contains all of the Stata code used to produce the exhibits in "Government Litigation Risk and the Decline in Low-Income Mortgage Lending" by Frame, Gerardi, Mayer, Xu, and Zhao, published in the Journal of Financial Economics. The main HMDA dataset used in the paper is included in this directory, however supplementary FHA/HUD administrative data used in a few exhibits is not included because it was provided by HUD to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta with the stipulation that it cannot be posted on a public website. There is code included that creates a pseudo dataset and constructs (fake versions of) the relevant exhibits.本目录收录了用于复现《政府诉讼风险与低收入抵押贷款发放规模的下降》（Government Litigation Risk and the Decline in Low-Income Mortgage Lending）一文所有展示图表的Stata代码，该论文由Frame、Gerardi、Mayer、Xu与Zhao合著，发表于《Journal of Financial Economics》（金融经济学杂志）。论文中使用的核心住房抵押贷款披露法案（Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, HMDA）数据集已包含于本目录内，但少数展示图表所需的补充联邦住房管理局（Federal Housing Administration, FHA）与住房与城市发展部（Department of Housing and Urban Development, HUD）行政数据集未被纳入——该数据由HUD提供给亚特兰大联邦储备银行，附带不得发布至公开网站的使用限制。本目录同时包含可生成伪数据集，并构建相关展示图表模拟版本的代码。
