青藏高原由于特殊的地理位置,居民的生活方式和燃料来源单一,在不同区域内的主要燃料均有不同。牧区主要燃料为干燥的牦牛粪,牦牛粪被收集并制成粪饼,风干后堆积存放,使用时多在铸铁炉灶内燃烧,其释放的黑碳类颗粒物,是广大牧区除了机动车外唯一的黑碳气溶胶排放源。林区主要燃料为当地易获得的薪柴,其燃烧释放的颗粒物与牦牛粪有差异。本数据集测定了青藏高原典型牧区牦牛粪燃和典型林区木柴烧排放单颗粒的形貌、粒径和元素组成,采样点包括玛沁县(牧区)、昌都地区的八宿县和类乌齐县(林区),外场采样位置为民居烟囱口,颗粒物被采集至聚碳酸酯滤膜上,实验室内借助计算机控制的扫描电子显微镜和X-射线能谱仪分析。牧区牦牛粪以及林区木柴燃烧排放的环境单颗粒包括黑碳聚集体、焦油球粒子、含有重金属元素的碳质颗粒、矿物尘和可溶盐类粒子等。本数据集包括具有统计意义的各类型粒子的微观物理和化学特征等,包括单个粒子的可追溯定位信息(粒子序号、视场序号、规则是否接受、信号强度、粒子质心坐标)、规则分类结果、单个粒子物理参数(粒径、长宽比、投影面积、周长、密度、体积、质量、形状因子、圆度)、能谱计数,及元素组成(单个粒子中C、O、Na、Mg、Al、Si、P、S、Cl、K、Ca、V、Cr、Mn、Fe、Ni、Cu、Zn元素的均一化质量百分含量,不同单个粒子的元素组成存在差异,并非全部粒子包含全部元素)。本数据集既是人为活动影响大气环境基础数据的有效补充,也对评估高原本地源含碳气溶胶的光学特征、辐射效应、健康效应和环境影响研究,具有潜在的意义。
Due to its unique geographical location, residents on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau have simple lifestyles and single fuel sources, with distinct primary fuels across different regions. In pastoral areas, the main fuel is dried yak dung, which is collected and made into dung cakes, air-dried and stored in piles. When used, these dung cakes are burned in cast iron stoves, and the emitted black carbon-like particulate matter is the sole black carbon aerosol emission source in these pastoral areas except motor vehicles. In forest areas, the primary fuel is locally accessible firewood, and the particulates released from its combustion differ from those of yak dung. This dataset characterizes the morphology, particle size and elemental composition of individual particulates emitted from the combustion of yak dung (typical pastoral area) and firewood (typical forest area) on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The sampling sites include Maqên County (pastoral area), and Baxoi County and Riwoqê County in Qamdo Prefecture (forest areas). Field sampling was conducted at the chimney outlets of local residential buildings, and particulates were collected onto polycarbonate filters. Laboratory analysis was performed using computer-controlled scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The environmental individual particulates emitted from yak dung combustion in pastoral areas and firewood combustion in forest areas include black carbon aggregates, tar ball particles, carbonaceous particles containing heavy metal elements, mineral dust and soluble salt particles, etc. This dataset contains statistically significant microphysical and chemical characteristics of various particle types, including traceable location information for individual particles (particle serial number, field of view serial number, acceptance rule flag, signal intensity, particle centroid coordinates), rule-based classification results, individual particle physical parameters (particle size, aspect ratio, projected area, perimeter, density, volume, mass, shape factor, circularity), energy spectrum counts, and elemental composition (normalized mass percentage contents of elements C, O, Na, Mg, Al, Si, P, S, Cl, K, Ca, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn in individual particles. The elemental compositions vary among different individual particles, and not all particles contain all elements). This dataset not only serves as an effective supplement to basic data on the impact of anthropogenic activities on the atmospheric environment, but also has potential significance for studies evaluating the optical characteristics, radiative effects, health effects and environmental impacts of carbon-containing aerosols from local plateau sources.
