Dataset of analysis of TikTok videos containing instructions on first aid for generalised seizures

This dataset contains results of the evaluation of English-language short-form videos containing instructions on first aid for generalised seizures published on TikTok. The search was carried out in June 2024 on a Windows-operated personal computer using the “seizures first aid” search query. Videos with at least 100,000 views were included. The content of the videos was evaluated for completeness and correctness of provided advice on first aid for generalised seizures using a 21-item checklist. The videos and comments to the videos were examined for misinformation (false and misleading advice) on first aid.
