Landscape-wide modelling of canopy tree crowns and heights using LiDAR: a case study in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia - Canopy height models
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides LiDAR-derived canopy height data for the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia, as part of the research paper “Landscape-wide modelling of canopy tree crowns and heights using LiDAR: a case study in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia” (2025). Australian Journal of Botany. DOI: https://doi.org/10.1071/BT25031 Dataset Contents: The dataset consists of canopy height files (geotiff format store in EPSG:28356) for each Local Government Area (LGA) within the study area. Each file contains the following data for each crown: Height: Canopy height model outputs in metres (integer) at a 1 metre spatial resolution. Related Resources: GitHub Repository: https://github.com/patrick-m-norman/ALS_regional_forest_modelling This repository contains the scripts and workflows used to process LiDAR data, derive tree height and crowns, and perform boosted regression tree (BRT) modelling. The documentation within the repository details the processing steps and underlying methodology.
