Data for: Circadian patterns in male sexual behaviour and female resistance in a polygynandrous bird

This dataset contains the following two files:
(1) An .R file containing the raw R code used to run statistical analyses and produce figures and tables.
(2) A .csv file with all mating data with the following columns:
Sexual behaviour data from 24 freely mating groups of red junglefowl (Gallus gallus).
Hour = Observation hour (1-3)
Session = Observation time session (Morning, Evening)
groupID = The identity of the mating group
MaleID = The identity of the male
Resistance = The mean female resistance score across all mating attempts within the hour
Agressions = Number of aggressive behaviours by the male within the hour
Food_call = Number of courtship food calls uttered by the male within the hour
Solicitations = Number of copulation solicitations received by the male within the hour
Waltz = Number of courtship waltzes performed by the male within the hour
ELO_SCORE = The male Elo score
Rank = The male discrete social rank (1-10, 1 being the most dominant, 10 the most subordinate)
