Foodscale Method Data Collection Toolkit

The FOODSCALE method is a food sustainability assessment tool that considers the social, environmental and economic impacts of food production and consumption. It can be applied to any outlet providing food for public consumption such as restaurants, hotels, take-aways, canteens, etc. The FOODSCALE method toolkit includes the survey given to research participants (i.e. restaurants; food outlets), the scoring criteria for the researchers use, and a report sheet that allows the researcher to collate data for each case on a single document (i.e. value; score; data verification method; notes). The FOODSCALE method can be adjusted to suit local contexts.
