Anthropogenic noise effect on early recruitment and diversity of marine invertebrates

Datasets collected in in-situ experiments with marine invertebrates and anthropogenic noise over 2021. Through a field study conducted on two sites differing by their noise pollution level (Pristine PS or Anthropized AS), we tested whether the distances (from 25 to 890 m) of anthropogenic noises might affect the diversity and early recruitment of multiple species in pristine and anthropized sites using artificial collectors moored on transects.Temperature data was collected through sensors per minute from July 2021 to October 2021.Trophic data (seston) consisting of total particulate matter (TPM), mass of total fatty acids (MFTA), and fatty acid profile (FA) were sampled monthly at each station. Similarly, total bacteria, pico, and nanoplankton concentrations were sampled monthly at each station and each site.Acoustic characterization occurred one to two days per month at the pristine site, and was daily at the anthropized site. Excel sheets marked with NA mean that we could not estimate this parameter.
