The contribution, starting from the concept of "landscape" and "environment", after a brief examination of the various stages that have led the cultural debate to a transition from the concept of "masterpiece" to that of "cultural heritage", proposes to open a dialogue on a new idea of museum, in the dynamics of contemporary society, up to the creation of a Museum of the Territory and a Museum of Communities.
