whole genome of Planococcus antioxidans PAB314

This study presents the draft genome sequencing of Planococcus antioxidans PAB314, which was isolated from marginal soils around an evaporation pond in Iran contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons. The strain was isolated through enrichment with crude oil-amended medium. Whole genome sequencing was conducted to elucidate the catabolic pathways responsible for naphthalene, anthracene, and pyrene degradation.
