Village-level Ecological Resilience Index (ERI) for the Yangtze River Delta, China (Benchmark Years: 2003, 2008, 2013, 2018, 2023) with Village Boundaries

This dataset provides village-level Ecological Resilience Index (ERI) values for the Yangtze River Delta (YRD), China, for five benchmark years (2003, 2008, 2013, 2018, 2023), together with village boundary polygons (ESRI Shapefile). ERI is a unitless composite index standardised to the 0–1 range, where higher values indicate higher ecological resilience. The CSV tables can be joined to the boundary shapefile using the field OBJECTID. The package includes README.txt and Variable_Dictionary.xlsx to document file structure and variable definitions. The dataset supports the descriptive and comparative analyses reported in the associated manuscript on rural ecological resilience in the YRD.
