Unveiling bacterial diversity in the Lower Mekong Basin and biodegradation potential for polylactic acid (PLA), polybutylene succinate (PBS), and PLA/PBS blend polymers

This study explores the diversity of bacteria in soil samples collected from four shoreline areas of the Lower Mekong Basin in Thailand using 16S amplicon metagenomic sequencing. The results were used as guidelines to identify potential bacterial candidates for application in bioplastic waste management.
