Group portrait of 6 women, 11 men, and 4 children. The man in the black vest is the swineherd Gudetta Desta, Turaa Guutee is standing in the middle behind the basket. To the right the tatched roof of the first mission house and palm trees are visible.; Gudetta Desta comes from Northwest Ethiopia. He was the servant of Kentiba Gebru who sold his land in Aira to the Hermansburg mission. Gudetta Desta went with the Hermannsburg missionaries from Addis Abeba to Aira and stayed there and worked for them.
