The semi-analytic method for buoyancy-induced thermal stratification in hot water tanks during standby periods

This dataset contains the original Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation results of hot water tanks subject to standby heat loss. The tank volumes and aspect ratios (height to diameter) are changed in line with common types. Experiment dataset has the experiment measurements of a 150-l hot water cylinder under standby heat loss. The test was done and reported by Jianhua Fan and Simon Furbo, the data was curated from their published paper (doi:10.1016/j.solener.2012.07.024). Graph digitaliser software "GetData" was used to obtain the experiment data.本数据集包含两类内容：一是储热水箱在待机热损失工况下的原始计算流体动力学（Computational Fluid Dynamics，CFD）模拟结果，模拟过程中调整了水箱的容积与高径比（高度与直径之比），参数设置契合市场主流商用储热水箱的规格范围；二是一台150升储热水缸在待机热损失工况下的实验测量数据。该实验由范建华（Jianhua Fan）与西蒙·弗博（Simon Furbo）完成并发表，实验数据源自他们的学术论文（DOI:10.1016/j.solener.2012.07.024），数据通过图像数字化软件"GetData"提取获取。
