PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type nonwoven fabric including polyphenylene sulfide fiber which hardly causes paper breakage when manufactured by a wet type paper-making method and has excellent dimensional stability when heated up to 250°C. SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric is composed of a polyphenylene sulfide fiber and a glass fiber. A polyphenylene sulfide fiber having atypia cross section and a multilayer structure is included as the polyphenylene sulfide fiber. At least one layer in the multilayer structure includes the glass fiber. The glass fiber content in the layer containing the glass fiber is preferably 5 mass% or over and 55 mass% or under with respect to the whole fiber. The difference between a content A in a layer having the largest glass fiber content and a content B in a layer having the smallest glass fiber content， (A-B)， is preferably 50 mass% or under， and its basis weight is preferably 16 g/m 2 or over and 200 g/m2 or under.SELECTED DRAWING: None
