Dataset for Efficiency Analysis and Identification of Critical Success Factors in the Development of National Firepower

This dataset was created to support an efficiency analysis and the identification of critical success factors related to how countries convert national resources into conventional military capability, using Data Envelopment Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression, respectively. The database compiles information extracted from the Global Firepower (GFP, 2025) and Multidimensional Measures of Militarization (M3) datasets. It includes more than 100 variables for 152 countries, covering the period from 1990 to 2025, and encompasses indicators that may influence military performance across multiple dimensions (economic, financial, social, military, logistical, energy-related, demographic, and geographic).本数据集旨在支撑两项核心研究目标：一是开展效率分析，二是识别各国将国家资源转化为常规军事能力相关的关键成功因素，二者分别采用数据包络分析（Data Envelopment Analysis）与多元线性回归（Multiple Linear Regression）方法完成。本数据集整合了取自《全球火力（Global Firepower，GFP，2025）》与《军事化多维测度（Multidimensional Measures of Militarization，M3）》数据集的相关信息，覆盖1990年至2025年的时间跨度，包含152个国家的超100项变量，涵盖经济、财政、社会、军事、后勤、能源、人口及地理等多维度影响军事表现的指标。
