Assumpció de Cóll church. Vall de Boí, 1140.

The church of the Assumpció de Cóll, in the Vall de Boí (Catalonia), has its own characteristics that differentiate it from other churches in the same valley: the construction materials, the size of the ashlars or the decorative elements on the cover. The Crismón and the carved capitals stand out with representations of fights between men and animals. Inside the church there are still three Romanesque fonts: the baptismal font, the holy water font and the oil font. The church of the Assumpció de Cóll was the only one in the Vall de Boí that in the Concord of 1140, signed between the bishoprics of Urgell and Roda, remained depending on Roda Barbastro.
