Households that cook with open fire or stove in Nigeria 2020

In Nigeria, the majority of households cook over open fire. In a study conducted in 2020, 77.7 percent of Nigerian households declared to have been cooking over open fire. On the other hand, 13.9 percent of households usually cooked over open stove.
