资源简介:
Site 48SW1090 (Raptor Site) represents a Late Prehistoric, Uinta camp located on the
eastern margin of the Leucite Hills. Pollen and macrofloral analyses concentrated on
examination of feature fill from a deflated house structure and several hearths. The probable
house structure exhibited two distinct occupational surfaces and three interior features
associated with the lower occupation. In addition, three isolated features were noted to the
northwest of the possible housepit that appear not to be related to occupation of the possible
deflated structure. Pollen and macrofloral analyses focuses on identifying probable plant
processing activities at this site. No stratigraphic pollen column was collected.
