A genome-wide association study identified PRKCB as a causal gene and therapeutic target for Mycobacterium avium complex disease

To identify loci conferring susceptibility to non-tuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary disease (NTM-PD) in the Chinese population, we performed genome-wide analysis of 430 NTM cases and 475 healthy controls (discovery stage).
