Dataset for Martinez-Velarte et al., 2026: Impact of Sentinel-5 SWIR Detector Persistence on Trace Gas Retrievals

This dataset accompanies the paper Impact of Sentinel-5 SWIR Detector Persistence on Trace Gas Retrievals (Martinez-Velarte et al., 2026). This repository contains the Level-1B radiance spectra and Level-2 retrieval products generated as part of this study, providing the complete underlying data required to replicate the manuscript's figures and findings. Specifically, the Level-1B datasets comprise Sentinel-2 scene simulations, albedo-discontinuity experiments, and discontinuity-shift experiments evaluated under both scattering and non-scattering conditions. The Level-2 datasets contain the resulting trace gas retrieval products that form the basis of the paper's analysis.
