Soil Bacterial Community Composition and Functional Potential as affected by Tillage Intensity Treatments

This study evaluated the interactions between soil microbial community composition and functions under different tillage management systems to establish strategies to achieve soils that effectively support sustainable agriculture. The specific objectives were to (1) characterize the influence of four different tillage intensity treatments under two residue management regimes on community distribution, phylogenic composition, and predictive functional profiles of the soil bacterial communities, and (2) study the variation and changes in the abundance, composition, and potential functions of soil microbiomes under different tillage treatments.
