资源简介:
Diabetic nephropathy is a major cause of dialysis and prognosis is extremely unsatisfactory. Accumulation of various metabolites have been detected and several biomarkers for diabetic nephropathy have been reported, but the clinical availability of the markers is less sensitive than urinary albumin. As a result of untargeted metabolome analysis, we focused on phenyl sulfate (PS) as a candidate.PS is a metabolite of phenol and in humans, phenol is synthesized from dietary L-tyrosine by gut bacterial tyrosine phenol-lyase.To investigate the effect of TLP inhibitor, 2-Aza-tyrosine(2-AZA) on the intestinal microbiome, we performed 16S rRNA gene sequencing of the cecal contents in the adenine-induced renal failure(RF) mice and RF mice treated with 2-AZA.
