Police Stop Data (RIPA) V2

This dataset captures information about the stops that were conducted by Long Beach Police Department. LBPD officers conducting stops capture information required by The Racial and Identity Profiling Act of 2015 (AB 953). The data captured are submitted to the State of California annually, and is made available to the public via this dataset.

Some columns are derived from other existing columns to aid in visualization. For example, the field "All Results of Stop" has a corresponding "Result of Stop Simplified" so that stops with multiple results may be shown as a "Multi Result Stop". This allows for easy visualization. The original columns are also made available for full transparency along with the derived columns.
