This dataset contains the MATLAB source code and the main results table used in the study entitled Simulation-Based Comparison of Doctrinal and Boundary-Consistent Placement in Finite Linear Hazard Fields. The study compares two placement rules for anti-vehicle effectors in a one-dimensional finite linear hazard field: (1) a doctrinal placement rule with a fixed initial offset and doctrinally defined effector count, and (2) a boundary-consistent placement rule based on an admissible interior interval and a constrained shift rule. The dataset includes: - hazard_field_sim_new_C.m – MATLAB script implementing the Monte Carlo simulation framework used in the study. - Table_1_new_doctrinal.xlsx – results table containing the simulated outputs for all tested combinations of field length and inter-effector spacing. The simulations were performed for 36 parameter combinations defined by six field lengths and six spacing values. The output table includes the number of deployed effectors, hit probabilities for both models, absolute differences, per-effector efficiency values, and relative efficiency improvement indicators. These files are provided to support transparency and reproducibility of the published results.
