Antarctic Fish and Trophic Webs

The objectives of this long-term project are twofold. The first is to collect baseline data on pollutant levels in notothenioids and their prey and predator species from the Potter Cove area. The second objective is the determination of the relationships between the trophic levels and flow of energy through the ecosystem. This research program is developed in collaboration with the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
