This dataset profiles the transcriptional response of in vitro polarized TH2 cells treated with calcitriol (active vitamin D) and vehicle controls. RNA-seq was used to identify differentially expressed genes influenced by vitamin D signaling. This study provides insight into the molecular mechanisms through which vitamin D modulates immune responses in TH2 cells. The experimental design investigates the transcriptional impact of calcitriol (active vitamin D) treatment in in vitro polarized TH2 cells.TH2 cells were treated with 100 nM calcitriol for 24 hours. Vehicle controls were exposed to 2% ethanol (v/v). Differential expression analysis was performed between the calcitriol-treated group (N=11) and the vehicle control group (N=11). RNA-seq was performed to quantify gene expression, followed by downstream differential expression and enrichment analyses to identify genes and pathways impacted by calcitriol treatment.
