Genetic characterization of drug-resistant bacteria isolated from North Macedonia

To characterize the genetic characteristics of strains isolated from patients or toilet water in a hospital in North Macedonia. The purpose of this study is to investigate the spread of drug-resistant bacteria, and to help understand the actual situation and consider infection control measures. For whole genome sequencing, libraries were prepared using the SQK-RBK114.24 Rapid Barcoding Kit (Oxford Nanopore) and sequenced on MinION devices using R10.4.1 flow cells.
