资源简介:
As postnatal bone development progresses, mesenchymal cells located inside the fibrous connective tissue membrane, covering the brain, proliferate and differentiate into osteoblasts, which synthesize osteoid and then matured in new bone tissue. Protein arginine methyltransferases (PRMTs) are a group of enzymes that methylate arginine residues on histones and non-histone substrates in various cellular responses. Absence of PRMT1 function impacts on the development of the cranial neural crest (CNC) and the formation of CNC-derived craniofacial bones, especially in bone size, shape, and lethality. We used microarrays to discover the transcription expression underlying pre-osteoblast cell lines MC3T3-E1 with PRMT1 inhibitor MS023 treated and non-treated control cells to identify distinct transcriptome during this process.
