Whole Genome Sequencing of Petrobium arboreum

This project presents the whole genome sequencing of Petrobium arboreum, a critically endangered tree species endemic to St Helena. The sequencing was conducted as part of the St Helena Cloud Forest Restoration Programme, aimed at conserving and restoring the island's unique and fragile cloud forest ecosystem. The genomic data will support future conservation genetics, ecological restoration, and evolutionary studies of endemic flora on St Helena.
