A image dataset of terrestrial and aquatic arthropods. The dataset is split to two parts: the "Order" dataset, identified on order level, with 980 specimens, and the "Species" dataset identified to species level, with 136 specimens. Order dataset has specimens from orders Araneae, Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, and Hymenoptera. The Species dataset has specimens from species Asellus aquaticus, Caenis horaria, and Kageronia fuscogrisea.

biomassdata.tar contains Order dataset image files as PNG.
species_dataset.tar contains Species dataset image files.
metadata.tar contains both raw and processed metadata, including train-test-splits used in the experiments.
outputs.tar contains the raw outputs and predictions from DNN model training and prediction. Model checkpoints for the two best performing models are also here.
results.tar contains all final result and prediction files.
