This report documents work carried out by Exco Resources Ltd (Exco) on EPM26025 for the period 14th December 2018 to 13th December 2020. This tenement forms part of Exco’s Hazel Creek Project.
Exco Resources Ltd (Exco) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Round Oak Minerals Pty Ltd (previously CopperChem Ltd) and conducts all exploration activities on behalf of its parent company.
Exploration is aimed at discovering Iron Oxide Cu-Au and Broken Hill Type Pb-Zn-Ag mineralisation in Proterozoic basement generally beneath shallow flat lying Mesozoic sediments.
Historic exploration has targeted five main prospects with the tenement, these being Turpentine, where a small copper resource has been previously delineated, Turpentine South, Eight Mile Creek, Eight Mile Creek North and the Eight Mile Creek East Prospects.
Work completed during the period included a review of previous exploration contributing to a renewal of the tenement in 2020 whereby a total of 55 sub blocks have been relinquished
