The purpose of the study: to analyse communication of climate change and consumption of information habits of the Lithuanian population. Major investigated questions: the relevance of the climate change issue to each respondent personally and their level of worry were questioned. They were asked to rate the extent to which they think climate change will directly impact their life and the life of future generations. The study asked specific questions concerning the typically used sources of information regarding climate change. By the end, feedback was obtained regarding the kinds of information they would like to see more of and the best ways for them to do that. Socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, level of education, membership in organizations, religion, marital status, nationality, political views, political participation, size of household, respondent's average personal income, place of residence, working situation of the respondent and of his/her spouse or partner.
本研究的宗旨在于剖析气候变化议题与立陶宛民众信息消费习惯之间的沟通关联。主要探讨问题包括:气候变化议题对每位受访者个人层面的相关性及其担忧程度。受访者被要求评估他们认为气候变化将直接对其自身及未来世代生活造成的影响程度。研究还针对通常用于获取气候变化信息的来源进行了具体提问。最终,收集了受访者希望获取更多类型的信息及其获取方式的反馈。社会人口统计学特征:性别、年龄、教育水平、组织成员身份、宗教信仰、婚姻状况、国籍、政治观点、政治参与度、家庭规模、受访者的平均个人收入、居住地、受访者及其配偶或伴侣的就业状况。
