COVMis-Stance

The COVMis-Stance dataset was created by the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science. It comprises 2,631 Twitter posts related to COVID-19 misinformation, with each post annotated with its stance towards the misinformation. The dataset was collected through searches of news headlines, URLs, keywords and other relevant means, aiming to assist researchers in developing and evaluating rumor detection models. Its primary application scenarios focus on information authenticity verification on social media, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, to help the public identify and curb the spread of misinformation.
