This dataset contains synchrotron µ-XRF elemental map and U LIII-edge µ-XANES spectra collected from a Late Cretaceous pedogenic carbonate nodule (P31) from Big Bend National Park, Texas. Measurements were performed at beamline 4-BM of NSLS-II and accompany the manuscript “Microscale Uranium Redox Heterogeneity Preserved in Pedogenic Carbonate” (Lesko and Chappaz, ACS Omega).
