Data from Chorus. Experiment: 1478, Total Proteomics in Lamp2a KO and WT Aging, file: 26Sep2014-Cuervo-sample44-DDA-01.mzml. From Chorus: {{i}} Comparative proteomics of lysosomal compartments from different age mice and from mice with compromised autophagy. The goal of this project is to identify changes in the lysosome proteome with age and in the subset of cellular proteins degraded by selective autophagy. Samples for analysis include two different type/groups: 1) two lysosomal populations with differences in their activity for selective autophagy purified by differential centrifugation and floatation in metrizamide discontinuous gradients from livers of 3 and 22 months old mice wild-type (WT) or knockout for an essential component for chaperone-mediated autophagy (L2AKO). 2) Cytosol from hearts of mice subjected to ablation of chaperone-mediated autophagy early or late in life (at 4 or 12 months, respectively) and analyzed at 1 or 6 months after blockage of this pathway. {{/i}}
