Approach Avoidance Training Smartphone Application (AAT-App+): A novel, personalised mobile health intervention for hazardous and harmful alcohol use among middle-older age adults
收藏资源简介:
This thesis examined the development, refinement, and evaluation of a novel personalised cognitive training smartphone intervention ("AAT-App+") targeting hazardous and harmful alcohol use among middle to older Australians. Published works using mixed methodology and situated within a translational research framework demonstrated feasibility and acceptability of the approach bias modification intervention, alongside significant reductions of 5-7 past week standard drinks post training relative to baseline, and significantly greater benefit for active versus sham after two weeks, but not at the primary endpoint. At the intersection of clinical neuropsychology, cognitive remediation, and mobile health, findings take steps to drive translational research to support healthy ageing.
