RNA-seq analysis of pooled sunflower and pepper samples for plant virus detection

This project contains next-generation sequencing data generated from an equimolar pooled RNA sample consisting of Helianthus annuus (sunflower) and Capsicum annuum (pepper) leaf tissues. The pooled library was sequenced to identify plant viruses present in the samples. Bioinformatic analysis revealed the presence of multiple viruses in pepper, and cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) was detected in sunflower. The BioProject includes sequencing data used for host-based and virus-based read separation and downstream virome analysis.
