Relief sculpture of a chariot pulled by horses

This relief sculpture follows the laws of perspective thanks to the technique of stiacciato. It consists of digging more or less deep into the stone to give depth to the final image. Here, it enables the spectator to clearly percieve a foreground with the first horse and the two people in the chariot, and a background with the second horse and the landscape.
