ALAN and natural darkness - New Zealand survey data

Replication Data for: <br>Cieraad &amp; Dalley 2025 - People &amp; Nature, and <br>Cieraad &amp; Dalley 2026 - Kotuitui NZ Journal of Social Sciences Online.<br>The dataset represents the responses of 1000 participants broadly representative of the New Zealand population in a 2024 survey regarding the attitudes and beliefs to artificial light at night (ALAN) and natural darkness, and connection to the night sky.The dataset sheet contains all data and the metadata sheet explains the different variables. The data and survey instrument are further described in the associated papers.
