We recruited 30 undergraduate students from a private university in Indonesia via convenience sampling with purposive screening for smartphone ownership and basic English proficiency (A2–B1 CEFR, self-reported). Participants ranged in age from 19 to 24 (M = 21.3), represented 5 different academic programs, and had varied mobile app experience. They all gave their consent after being informed, and the research received the permission from the ethics committee of the university.
