CDPHE Colorado School and Child Care Immunization Facility Data (2017-18 school year through 2022-23 school year)

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Colorado School and Childcare Immunization Facility Data table (2017-18 through 2022-23 school years) contains data as displayed in the Colorado School and Childcare Immunization Data Dashboard. Facility-level datasets for other school years are available in the CDPHE Open Data Portal. The CDPHE Immunization Program collects immunization data from schools and licensed childcare programs in Colorado annually. Here is a brief description of the individual data fields (columns) included in this dataset: ID: Unique identifier for each site (numeric). Site_Name: This field indicates the name of the childcare or school (character). District_Name: This field indicates the name of the licensing county for childcare programs, and indicates the names of the school district for schools (character). Facility_Type: This field indicates if the site is a Child Care/Preschool, Public School, or Private School (character). County: This field indicates the county in which the childcare is licensed or the primary county served by the school’s district (character). Survey_Type: This field indicates if the site’s submitted data corresponds to Child Care/Preschool students, Kindergarten students, or K-12 students (“School”) (character). Vaccine: This field indicates the vaccine type (character). Metric: This field indicates the vaccination status category. Values include Fully Immunized, In Process, Incomplete Record, Medical Exemption, No Record, Nonmedical Exemption, and Summary Compliant (character). Value_Percent: This field indicates the vaccination status rate (numeric). Enrollment: This field indicates the total enrollment. Enrollment for the Tdap vaccine includes grades 6 through 12 (numeric). Year: This field indicates the school year of the survey data (e.g. “2017/2018”) (character).
