3.4 micron Background MCMC Posterior Chains

Extragalactic background light (EBL) at 3.4 microns from galaxies as predicted using the mean spectral energy distribution (SED) of galaxies measured in Lake and Wright (2016, DOI: 10.21105/astro.1603.0729) and the luminosity function (LF) Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) posterior chains from Lake et al. (2018b). The LF posterior chains are available from Figshare under DOI: 10.6084/m9.figshare.4109625 . The first two columns are indices that match the LF posterior chains. The third column is the background from galaxies at redshifts closer than z=1 and the fourth column is the prediction from the same parameters closer than z=5, all in kilo-Janskies per steradian. The files are gzipped ( http://www.gzip.org/ ) IPAC tables ( http://irsa.ipac.caltech.edu/applications/DDGEN/Doc/ipac_tbl.html ). A full description of how these files were produced is in Lake et al. (2019, in preparation).
本数据集为基于Lake与Wright(2016年,DOI: 10.21105/astro.1603.0729)中测得的星系平均光谱能量分布(spectral energy distribution, SED),以及Lake等人(2018b)给出的光度函数(luminosity function, LF)马尔可夫链蒙特卡洛(Markov chain Monte Carlo, MCMC)后验链,所预测得到的、由星系贡献的3.4微米波段河外背景光(Extragalactic background light, EBL)。该光度函数后验链可通过Figshare平台获取,DOI为10.6084/m9.figshare.4109625。数据集前两列为与光度函数后验链匹配的索引;第三列为红移z<1的星系贡献的背景光强度,第四列为基于相同参数、红距z<5的星系背景光预测值,所有单位均为千央斯基(kilo-Janskies)每球面度。本数据集文件采用gzip压缩格式(详见http://www.gzip.org/),为IPAC表格格式(详见http://irsa.ipac.caltech.edu/applications/DDGEN/Doc/ipac_tbl.html)。关于这些文件生成方式的完整说明详见Lake等人(2019年,待刊)。
