Will-They-Won't-They (abbreviated as WT-WT) is a large-scale English tweet dataset designed for stance detection in rumor verification tasks. This dataset is constructed based on tweets discussing five recent merger and acquisition (M&A) deals of U.S. companies, most of which are from the healthcare industry. All annotations were performed by domain experts; therefore, this dataset constitutes a high-quality and reliable benchmark for future stance detection research.
