Cederberg Conservation Status Map

The Cederberg Conservation Status Map was clipped from the SA Vegetation Map- Beta Version 4. The map was clipped to the Greater Cederberg Biodiversity Corridor planning domain boundary. The SA Vegetation Map is the result of a collaborative project involving about 60 individuals from a number of organizations. The final version of this SA Vegetation Map will be published together with a book providing descriptions of vegetation types later in 2004. The attribute accuracy of the SA Vegetation Map has been checked, where possible, through peer review. The logical consistency, completeness and horizontal positional accuracy of the map were also assessed. Although the greatest care has been taken to ensure that the information we serve is up to date and spatially accurate, the BGIS unit and its partner organizations give no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, reliability, utility or completeness of this information.
