We are monitoring the reproductive activity of Arctic and Red Foxes. We find dens through systematic searches throughout our study site. All dens found are positioned with a GPS and revisited several times to identify the species, minimum litter size and collect prey remains and scats to determine the diet. The study was expanded in 2008 to investigate hypotheses concerning the competitive interactions of the two species.
