Analysis Outputs and Reproducibility Materials for: The Social Embeddedness of Life Satisfaction: Material Security, Social Trust, and Institutional Confidence Across 30 European Countries

Aggregate analytical outputs and reproducibility materials accompanying a cross-national study of life satisfaction across 30 European countries. The project examines the independent and contextual roles of material security, generalized social trust, institutional confidence, and the national trust climate using European Social Survey Round 11 data linked with World Development Indicators. The release includes regression outputs, robustness and diagnostic analyses, nonlinear sensitivity checks, grouped cross-validation results, and explainable machine-learning outputs including SHAP and permutation importance. Cleaned analytical notebooks and supporting metadata are also provided to facilitate verification and reproducibility. Original respondent-level European Social Survey data and the respondent-level analytical working dataset are not redistributed; users seeking to reproduce the analyses should obtain the authorized source data directly from the European Social Survey.
