DNA methylation might be involved in the expression regulation of genes potentially associated with photoperiodic-tuberization. In this study, We compared the DNA methylation levels and differentially methylated genes (DMGs) in the photoperiodic-tuberization process between the photoperiod-sensitive and -insensitive genotypes. The gene expression profiles of the Zebularine treatment group and control group of photoperiod-sensitive genotypes were determined by transcriptome analysis. The key candidate photoperiodic-tuberization genes regulated by DNA methylation were analyzed.
